Lord Heal My Broken Heart

Oh Lord . . . My God . . . It hurts so bad
The pain just won't go away
There's no one else I can turn to
So in your presence my Lord I'll just stay

It's like a knife that is deep down inside
I want . . . to run and to flee
But I know God you have THE POWER
My Lord to set my soul free

My heart is racing . . . I feel it now
My Lord please rescue me
I can't continue . . . Not at this pace
Else on my death bed I surely will be

Just HEAL THIS BROKEN . . . Heart dear Lord
It's getting too much to bear
So I'll place it here on your alter
With each and all of my cares

I know your yoke is so easy
Your burdens my God they are light
Please put me all back together
So then I CAN be alright

Lord take these small tiny fragments
And hold them tight in your hand
My tears they just won't stop flowing
My God I can't barely stand

Please heal my broken heart Father
Please just take all this pain far away
I leave it here on your alter
Heavenly Father . . . YES this is my prayer
