Two young women inspired me to write this poem after witnessing their temper tantrums.

Hot Flashes

Is that temper really necessary??????
Come on let us just be real
Is that the only way you can express yourself
And let others know the way you feel

So what's with all the DRAMA
Tell me WHO you trying to impress
Girl you need to meet KING JESUS
And let HIM release that stress

Oh that temper just keeps on raging
Like the waves on a stormy sea
Let me introduce to you my Jesus
Now He's the one to set you free

See You need a dose of the WORD OF GOD
To quinch the fire of that flame
And I guarantee to you my sister
You will never be the same

So when you feel your temper boiling
And the hot flashes coming on
Girl just call on my Sweet Jesus
And let Him calm that approaching storm!
