While riding to work one morning, the sun was just coming up through the
clouds and it was a glorious site. I went to work and wrote this poem.
THE HEAVENS DECLARE HIS GLORY
How can you say there is no God
His presence is ALL AROUND
Even with no eyes to see
You would know it by the sound
Just listen to the WIND sometimes
As it blows into your
ear
It assures you that the Comforter's
No far... but VERY NEAR
Hear the BIRDS, going to and fro
Singing PRAISES to our God
So much JOY, such CONTENTMENT
They're never... never tired
Look up in the bright SUNSHINE
The brilliance that it
gives
It only points to God above
Declares that YES HE LIVES
Watch the STARS late at night
Twinkling oh so bright
Every sparkle, every glow
Reminds us of THE LIGHT
Hear the WAVES shouting as they roar
Out on the open sea
They glorify the one above
An AWESOME God is He
The Heavens they Declare His Glory
They portray our God
above
Just look up in the open SKY
It tells us of His LOVE
The CLOUDS they move
With such COMPASSION
On a bright and sunny day
The radiance from the SUN shoots forth
Its magnificence
from the rays
The Heavens do Declare His Glory
The glory of God above
The FIRMAMENTS show forth His handiwork
The conclusion, my friend . . . . . . IS LOVE!!!!!!!
