This poem was penned to provoke the people of God to be conscious of the choices that they make.

The Choices That We Make

CHOICES CHOICES every DAY
But which ones do we take
The path that will ultimately make us better
Or the path which makes us break

You know break your neck trying to please someone
Oh yes . . . Just for a little fun
But then after the excitement is all over with
You think my God what have I done

Oh just look around at the diversity
Even the differences in this room
But how many are aware of their spirituality
And know that JESUS is coming soon

CHOICES CHOICES every HOUR
With every move I make
Do I really have time for those silly games
Or should another chance I take

Should I warn your people of what's up ahead
Or just let them do their thing
You know fill their heads with intoxicating drugs
And what ever trash one nighters bring

Oh CHOICES CHOICES every MINUTE
Should I just go with the flow
You know the rhythm and the rhyme
Of this wicked world
Who just do not seem to know

That it's time out for all the foolishness
Come on ain't you heard the news
Don't you know the terrorist attacks are not over yet
Not till they destroy all Christians and Jews

CHOICES CHOICES every SECOND
Yes the hour is drawing late
For His coming is closer than you think
No my friend you dare not wait

For when He arrives here in His Splendor
For all the world to see
No you will not have an option
But you'll fall down on bended knees . . . .

And Declare that He "IS" Lord!
