I Want To Get Close To You

My Sweet Dear Heavenly Father
My thoughts are all on you
To feel the brush of your gentle touch
Just like the morning dew

When I gaze into your compassionate eyes
My heart just skips a beat
I humble my spirit in submissiveness
As I lay here at your feet

See once enough is not enough
No I just want more and more
I want to get so close to you
And let my love just pour

As I bow here at your Throne Lord
And I worship at your feet
When I come into your presence
It makes my life complete

Oh Father just let me kiss you
Let me stir you with my love
See nothing here compares to you
No . . . You’re the Holy One Above

Oh I want to get so close to you
And let you wrap me in your arms
For only you can protect me Father
And keep me safe from harm

Oh I want to get so close to you
That’s where I long to be
Until the day you come again
And your Holy Face I see
