Dear Father in Heaven . . . My Lord Above
I come right now on bended knee
Father I pray for the thousands of families
Who have lost loved ones . . . In the Asian sea

Oh such devastation . . . Lord such loss of life
They tell me dear God . . . Like none before
I just pray for your STRENGTH and GUIDANCE
And of your GRACE . . . Please give them more

Cuz some mother has lost her dear children
Father some husband has lost his dear wife
There are some generations that were completely wiped out
And so many thousands . . . Have lost their own life

Oh where can they go . . . Tell me what can they do
But simply turn their hearts to you
For only *you* dear Lord can help them
To heal them . . . And bring them through

Oh Father you're too WISE to make a mistake
I know you're too JUST . . . To ever do wrong
So bring comfort to all of these families
Please fill the void and make them all strong

Wrap your Loving and Gentle Arms around them
Hold them near and ever so close
While their world has crumbled all before them
Father assure them you love them the most

For your Steadfast Love never ceases
Oh no . . . Your Mercies never come to an end
But with each awakening new morning
You promise new mercies . . . To them you will send
