I've been pressing through this amazing pregnancy, which I just entered the sixth month of, and God keeps showing up and proving Himself time and again. In the meantime, I've been physically limited, and my family obligations have kept me from being able to respond to any topics directly on the forum. But, don't give up on me, I've got you all in my prayers... I do, however, have a testimony for y'all. On July 24th, I wrote to you all concerning my son, who didn't seem to want to get serious about the Lord. Well, that day was his 15th birthday, and I printed out your poetic responses, and attached them to Psalms and Proverbs 24 and put them on his bed that night as sort of an informal additon to his birthday gift. I saw him with those notes in his hands for about three days straight, and then he went back to his old routine. But, something in me clicked --- a light went on, and a wave of peace enveloped me. I knew that, even without seeing it with my own two eyes, something in my son had changed. Long story short, Ever since school started up again, he's been different. He's working at the after-school program at our church, he comes home at night and does his homework and his chores (all without prompting); and he gets up every morning and gets out the door on time. And, the most awesome thing, is that he's actually helped lead some of his friends to the Lord, and has been encouraging them to walk in their salvation! I remember telling him during the summer that his artwork is a talent that God gave him, and that he should use it in conjunction with his gifts to honor the Lord. Again, it was something that I thought went in one ear and out the other. Well, a couple of weeks ago he started writing his Christian rap songs again, and last week he made a t-shirt with Romans 16:20 on it, which reads "The God of Peace will defeat Satan and give you power over him." At the bottom of the t-shirt he inscribed "Damn is not God's last name!" HALLELUJAH!!! I know this is just the beginning of a tremendous work that God has done in him, and I just wanted to thank you all for your immediate response to the call to intercession. Your prayers work!!! You helped me to get out the way and shut my mouth so that Quentin could truly see and hear Jesus for himself. I'm blessed to know you all in the Spirit, and I pray that I can be even more of a blessing to you in the times to come. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again, and again, and again; in Jesus' Name!!! QuYahni
