Although I've been dry, as well
It's hard sometimes to write with ease
The words don't seem to form in your head

But I believe each dry area
Is a area of replenishment
It's where God takes us
When He's about to refill us

And the anointing will be greater
And you'll be overwhelmed by the magnitude
And your inability to stop flowing
It will be awesome

Just last year the Lord filled me to overflowing
With songs from His heart
And now, all I hear is silence
But I know it's not because He's taken it away...

He's making room for what He's already given
And He's building our storehouses
For the things that are yet to come
So your poetry will do more than tear down enemy strongholds

It will build up kingdom walls
It will rip through darkness
It will mend broken hearts, permnanently
It will heal even more...

Be patient, my sister
You don't wait alone
I labor before the gates of heaven
For my breakthrough, too

And I stand in the gap for you
And our fellow saints who are in the same place
We're being prepared for a greater work
So be still and know...
