FAREWELL.....GOODBYE!!!! -Thank You Poets

My Dear Fellow Poets,

Thank you so much for responding to this topic posted by our sister Roslyn Downing, A.K.A. Roz-E.  This 32 year old young man, Vance Givens, was a joy and a delight to be around by all who knew him.  He was a co-worker in the building to several of our poets and worked on the same floor as Roz-E.  He will be greatly missed.

Saints, not only did Vance lose his life that day, but there was another man from Maryland who drowned in a separate incident off the North Carolina coast late last week.  The drownings took place a few miles and a few hours apart on the Outer Banks.

Vance and his wife, who were still newlyweds, were on a retreat with a career fellowship group through Chapelgate Presbyterian Church.  Again, thank you all for taking the time to express words of comfort to those who may have been wondering *WHY* this tragedy had to happen.  May the Fathers face shine upon each of you and may He keep you in His Loving Care!
