Mighty Counselor
 

God gave us doctors and counselors
To help us to live healthier lives
He made medicines from bushes and trees
For attacks that bring unbearable strife
 
Christ Himself was called Mighty Counselor
It's not wrong to seek good advice
It's less healthy to think we are strong on our own
And we are self sufficient in life
 
Would it be wrong to see a doctor
If you had a broken arm
So what's wrong with seeing a therapist
If they're Christian, there should be no harm
 
Through-out the Bible they sought confirmation
That they were doing things right
It's just one more tool God has given us
To fight the battle's of life
 
God's word says many counselors
Will assure the victory
And it also says with no guidance they fall
So, that's good enough for me!
